Santoku 175x53mm, San-maï hand forged from 26C3 high carbon steel core and soft steel cladding in Sheffield.
Workhorse knife. Very nimble tip. Strong distal taper from 4.7mm at the handle to 2.6mm mid blade to 0.7mm at the tip. Harden at 64-65HRC
Kurouchi blade, flat double bevel, Satin (finish at 600 grit on Kasfly).
Weight : 167 gr / Balance point : at the maker mark
Wa handle made from one piece of English Bog Oak 150mm length
