Saya (wooden sheath)
I only make saya for available knife on my shop. Thank you
A Saya is a Japanese wooden sheath. It's an important part of the knife because it protects the blade during transport, keeps the edge away from other blades, reduces the risk of cutting ourself and looks cool. For my sayas, I use Tulip wood (Liriodendron tulipifera), it has a straight grain, light yellowish color and it's soft.
The saya is carved to fit perfectly your blade. A pin come to secure the knife or to release it. Please note that the wood may present some color and texture variation.
Select the blades's size of the knife you ordered (from the Emoto to the tip). Between 80mm to 160mm for shorter blades and 170mm to 260mm for longer blades.
