Santoku 190x55mm, San Maï hand forged in Sheffield from 26C3 high carbon steel core and Pure iron clad in Sheffield. 

Santoku style blade with a good distal taper. Feel very light and agile.

Kurouchi finish, flat grind, Kasumi-ish. Double bevel

Weight : 188 gr / Balance point : at the heel

Distal taper from 4.75mm to 2.50mm to 0.65mm

Wa handle handle made from Ebonised English Oak (Quercus robur), 140mm length.

Overall length : 345mm

Custom saya made from Rainbow Tulip wood (Liriodendron tulipifera) with Brass and Ebonised oak pin.
